Our Commitment


1st Priority will monitor all activity. Every customer will have access to enter all information. We will notify the shipper to ensure the product is ready, and if purchase order is required,we will call to obtain the pick up number of the purchase order number, prior to dispatching a truck. If an appointment is required, we are committed to making sure the carrier arranges the appointment, with the shipper.

Tenders will be created as they are entered into the system. Once this happens, the tender is populated on our website, and alerts us that there is a shipment "pending"

Once each shipment is in pending status we,arrange for the shipment to be picked up. We call the carrier and schedule the actual pickup. We will send a bill of lading to the carrier showing 1st priority as the 3rd party bill to. In order for the billing to process properly, ALL shippers are instructed to use only the 1st priority bill of lading. If any other paperwork is required, we will instruct the vendor.

Once each shipment is picked up, the 1st priority web based application will change the shipment status from "pending" to "in transit", and the carrier will issue a pro number. This will appear on the shipment detail through 1st priority's application. On a daily basis, we track and trace, each and every shipment to insure the transit goes smoothly. This can be done one of two different ways. We can call the carrier or we can track it through 1st priority's tracking system. If a problem arises we will notify our customer immediately, and stay in constant contact with the carrier, until the problem is resolved.

Every customer of ours will be issued a "sing in" and password and will have the capability to go to the 1st priority website and track each shipment, should they desire to do so.

If a claim should occur, we will manage all processing of the claims in a timely manner. All necessary documents,regarding the claim, must be submitted to us by our customer. the delivery receipt must state all damages prior to the driver leaving the delivery location. At this point 1st priority will process the claim with the carrier.
